Bridge Walkout Tutorial
Description/Instructions:
Go into a normal Bridge by brace your abs and squeezing your butt while pushing through the floor.
Slowly walk your feet out by taking small, deliberate steps until your legs a relatively straight.
Then take those same small steps back to your original starting Bridge position.
Add weight on your hips or a band around your knees for added difficulty.
Helpful Cues:
Focus on squeezing your butt the whole time. Don’t relax your hips when taking each step.
Quicker small steps will be easier to control then larger ones.
Take your time. Rushing will just cause you to be sloppy.
Common Mistakes:
Not keeping your butt up high enough. Push through the floor and squeeze through the whole motion!
Arching your back up (common mistake for normal bridges too). Movement comes from your hips, not back.
Other Names:
None that we know of.
