Our Personal Training programs for seniors are tailored towards older individuals. As we get older, we tend to have more physical limitations, our trainers make lots of modifications in order to account for these limitations and successfully complete each workout. We take extraordinary care with our clients to make sure they learn how to properly execute every exercise and progress steadily as they better their lives. We use a variety of modalities such as strength training, conditioning, mobility, and balance practice to help reach their goals.

In addition to this they all have the practical experience necessary to help older adults improve their health and wellness. A substantial number of our clientele are over the age of 60 and have had numerous health concerns that we have been able to assist with.   • Gain Strength and maintain muscle mass

    • We utilize free weights, bands, machines, and simple body weight exercises to help our clients become stronger and improve their muscle mass. For many the goal isn’t to necessarily add muscle weight, but instead just get stronger so they can improve tasks in their daily lives. We progress our clients slowly and carefully while teaching proper technique first.

  • Lose Weight

    • We utilize both resistance training and cardio to help our clients lose weight. We have a number of exercises at our disposal to do this along with equipment such as bikes, rowers, ropes, and even light sleds.

  • Improve Bone Density

    • As you get older it becomes hard to add bone density to your skeleton. However, you can slow the loss of bone mass through proper resistance training. Many of the exercises we utilize will help with this.

  • Help with mobility and Joint Function

    • Being able to move comfortably is a main goal for many as they get older. We practice full range of motion exercises which helps with this mobility. We work around injuries and other limitations to help our clients move better with less pain.

  • Increase Cardiovascular Health

    • This is a priority for many to help improve the functioning of their heart and blood vessels to hopefully prevent different cardiovascular diseases. We use many different cardio and conditioning modalities to help improve this in our clients.

  • Improve Balance and Stability

    • Many people start to lose their ability to balance as they get older. We work on many different exercises that challenge your balance to help you become better. We also try to strengthen smaller muscles in your body that will help with overall stability too.

  • Prevent and rehab from Injuries

    • It is nearly impossible to not encounter some sort of injury as you get older. For many this is hip or knee replacements, torn rotator cuffs, tendonitis, and many more. Our goal at Become Better is to prevent as many of these injuries as possible, and if you do end up having an injury, our training should help you have a quick recovery by strengthening the muscles around the problem area. We also work with clients after surgeries to help them rehab. We work closely with physical therapists to make your journey to recovery quick and painless.
