Dumbbell Overhead Extension

step by step guide:

  1. Pick up a dumbbell and place it in your hands with an upside down “diamond” shaped hand position.

  2. Press the dumbbell up over your head.

  3. Lower the dumbbell down until you feel a big stretch in the back of your arms, then extend your elbows to raise the dumbbell back up overhead.

Common mistakes:

  1. Stopping short of full ROM. Make sure you lower the dumbbell down as low as you can before pressing it back up.
