Joey’s Quarantine Life
Hi Everyone! It has been a weird couple of weeks but I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy through this time. I would also like to take this time to thank everyone who donated to Nik and I. We are very thankful and it is such a wonderful feeling with how tight of a gym family that we have :)
So what have I been up to since the quarantine? The first week was crazy busy and Dan and Nik have mentioned developing an online exercise library along with online personal training programs so we can all continue to Become Better. Once we got that taken care of things slowed down significantly. Like most of you, Netflix and movies have been a large consumption of time along with playing video games online with my army of young siblings. This time has also given me the ability to reach out and talk with friends more than I have in the past. I think the worst thing about having to stay home is the inability to go and see my family. As most of you know, family is a very important aspect of my life and it is a little tough not being able to go and hangout with them. Thankfully we do have online platforms available to video chat and talk.
Kona Update
One great aspect to this quarantine is all the time that I get to spend with Kona! She loves all the play and cuddle time that she gets along with the frequent walks we go on each day. This time has also allowed me to train her. She has been learning new tricks like shaking your hand and standing up tall on her feet. We have also been on some hikes like the photo to the left shows. We have traveled to Raccoon Creek on nice sunny days and have hiked 7 miles on 2 separate days. Kona has been a great hiking companion and has made some other fur friends along the way. Hopefully in the near future Kona will be able to meet all of you :)
With more free time I have been doing things like reading, continued education in regards to training and watching beachfront bargain hunt on HGTV just dreaming of the beach and sunny warm weather. Like everyone else, I hope this ends soon with everyone staying as healthy and safe as they can. I can not wait to be able to train all of you again along with conversing like we do.
Stay safe everyone!
