Weight Release Box Jump
Description/Instructions:
Set up set box height
Grab two dumbbells/Plates and hold them at your side
Dip down into a quarter squat or a little below and drive up and forward onto the box while simultaneously releasing the dumbbells from your hands
Land soft and reset
Helpful Cues:
The second your feet come off the ground is the point of release
Controlled dip
Always jump at maximal intensity
Common Mistakes:
Holding onto the weight too long and dropping mid jump
Standing too close to the box or too far
Dipping too deep into full squat
