step by step guide:

  1. Place a band around your ankles and stand with your feet together.

  2. Swing one leg out and around in a circular motion, then place your foot directly in front of the other foot.

  3. Repeat on the other side.

Common mistakes:

  1. Not swinging your foot out and around. To get any benefit from this exercise, you need to stretch the band. Don’t just step forward. Make sure you swing out and around.
