Sit Up

Step By Step Guide:

  1. In a seated up position, cross your arms against your chest and keep your feet flat against the ground.

  2. Use your core and keep your arms against your chest. You will sit up to where your elbows touch your knees.

Helpful Cues:

  1. Make sure your feet are not too far away from your butt. This will cause a swinging or use of momentum to perform the sit up

Common Mistakes:

  1. Don’t use momentum to perform the sit up.

  2. Not siting up far enough to make the elbows touch your knees
