Side Ball Slam
Step By Step Guide:
Using a slam ball, reach up tall and slam the ball as hard and fast as you can to the outside of one foot.
Pick up the ball from that position and reach up and slam down to the other side of your body outside of your foot.
Helpful Cues:
Use your whole body to slam the ball down. Do not simply let gravity do the work. Accelerate the ball down by dropping your hips and throwing your arms down.
Common Mistakes:
Letting gravity do the work. Make sure you’re actively slamming the ball down and not just letting it fall.
Not bending your knees to pick the ball up. Make sure you reach down by bending at your knees as well as leaning over and not just leaning over.
