Background
I grew up a very active kid. I did gymnastics when I was younger and played volleyball through most of my life. I started working out seriously when I met Coach Dan the summer going into my junior year at Bethel Park High School. I signed up for his Summer training to prepare for the upcoming volleyball season. This is when I realized how much I loved exercising and decided that I wanted to go to college for Exercise Science. I’ve been training with Dan ever since.
At Slippery Rock I learned about the sciences related human physiology and and how the body responds and adapts to exercise. As a graduate assistant at Pitt I have had the opportunity to teach basic weightlifting to undergraduate students.
