Around the World Balance
step by step guide:
Pick up a kettlebell with one hand and stand on one leg with the kettlebell at your side.
Begin swinging the kettlebell in front of you towards your other hand and then grab it with your other hand.
Swing the kettlebell behind you with your other hand and reach back behind you with your starting hand to grab the kettlebell.
Continue this process for the prescribed amount of reps, and then repeat passing the kettlebell in the opposite position for the prescribed amount of reps.
Repeat the whole process on the other leg.
Helpful cues:
Pick a spot to focus your eyes on. This will help you maintain your balance during this (and actually, every exercise).
Common mistakes:
Touching the ground with the other foot as you perform the exercise. The purpose is to balance on one foot, so force yourself to keep that other foot up in the air or use it minimally to help correct your balance.
