Low Fat, High Protein Taco Soup

A Fast and Easy Soup For The Crock Pot

This soup is high in protein and very calorie friendly

INGREDIENTS

  1. Non Stick Cooking Spray

  2. 2 pounds ground turkey breast

  3. 1 onion, chopped

  4. 1, 15 oz. can Chili Beans, do not drain

  5. 1 15 oz. can kidney beans, do not drain

  6. 10 oz. frozen corn kernels

  7. 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles

  8. 16 oz canned tomato sauce

  9. 3 cups water

  10. 2 (approx 15 oz.) cans diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes

  11. 2 packets low sodium taco seasoning

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add the ground turkey breast and cook over medium heat until browned. Move to Crock Pot.

  2. Add all the other ingredients to the Crock Pot and stir well to combine.

  3. Cook on low setting for 8 hours.
