Summer Fitness Olympics 2024

at Become Better Sport Performance and Personal Training

Start Date: Saturday, June 1st (Draft Day)

End Date: Wednesday, 8/14/24

Closing Ceremony: Friday, 8/16/2024 (Two weeks later than normal)

The Events:

  • **New 25 Yard Seated Sled Row

    • Using our new 100 foot rope you will sit on the ground and pull/row the sled for 25 yards (from the first and last long line).

      • Fastest time wins.

      • Weights are yet to be determined

  • Chin-up Hold

    • Hold your chin over the bar for as long as possible

      • Variations or a separate event will be made for older adults and others who cannot hold themselves over the bar.

  • Two Mile Run

    • Two Laps in the Industrial Park. Same route as last year

      • Turn right out of our parking lot and follow the road to the right at the intersection. The road then continues in a circle until you have to turn right again on our street (Enterprise Blvd).

    • Fastest time wins

  • Weight to OH (Split Jerk)

    • Successfully lift the largest amount of weight over your head.

    • This will be best accomplished by learning the last part of the olympic lifts, the split jerk

      • If you wish to not learn this exercise you can still get points by doing a regular Standing BB Press, Push Press, or even Snatch

  • Ski Ergometer Dart Game:

    • Same as the Rower Dart Game from last year except on the Concept 2 Ski Ergometer this year.
