Become Better Sport Performance and Personal Training History:

Become Better Sport Performance and Personal Training was started by Dan Knorr in late 2013 with only a few clients of his own. Over the years, Dan gained many clients through word of mouth, contacting local volleyball teams, and teaching Olympic weight lifting classes. As he expanded he hired interns Nik Aston and Joey Buchanich who later became full-time employees. Nik unfortunately moved back to New Mexico over the pandemic and started his own gym, Enchanted Strength. Coach Joey is still training with us and helped us reach over 100 clients. Former/current client, Paige Chalus, was also hired as a part-time employee to help out when needed. In 2021 we expanded our footprint and became apart of Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Club. In their facility we have new equipment to train over 30 of their teams. In 2022, we finally were able to expand our main location to a facility 5x as big. We remodeled the building and moved in May 1st, 2022. During this time we also welcomed Coach Anthony to the team who brought his former business, APFit Now with him. With our recent growth and addition of APFit Now, we now have nearly 200 clients in addition to the teams we work with at Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Club. In our new facility we have also added a recovery room, dance fitness classes, and a chiropractor.
