Kicking Off the New Year Right!

Happy New Year!  New Year, New Me!  This term is used a lot, and to be honest we really don’t like it because you should want to start making progress in your health and fitness no matter what time of year it is, but if this is what works for you, then it is an appropriate time to “Kick the New Year Off Right!”  Whether you are trying to continue goals from the previous year, re-make goals into the new year or even start exercise related goals for the very first time, the start of the new year is as good of a time as any to talk about goals and to set them in place.  Your coaches are here to help you figure out appropriate goals.

Kicking the New Year Off Right isn’t only about setting goals.  The new year is a good time to work on nutrition and setting schedules/routines after all the holidays that have taken place the last few months.  Effective nutrition and setting a weekly schedule/routine are just as important as getting into the gym to train.  Setting a proper schedule is important to help you think routinely on what you want to achieve in a day, week or even month.  It can also help you to stay on track of reaching your goals.
